MEDICAL/DENTAL (Present)
There is always a great need for professionals who are willing and able to leave their practice for 10 days and serve in difficult, primitive conditions. Without the confirmation of professionals we cannot even begin to plan a trip. Once the professionals have committed, then a volunteer group is developed to serve the professionals.
EDUCATORS (Future)
Public Health Education needs to be established in each location we serve.
RESEARCH/DEVELOPMENT (Future)
Emphasis on nutrition and medicines
OTHER VOLUNTEERS
Other volunteers are needed as well. Sometimes there is a need for construction workers, mechanics, and people who know how to work hard to provide service to the professional teams, and sometimes meet the immediate needs of the missionaries we are supporting.
PRAYER
Prayer is what makes it all happen, and cannot be underestimated. Please commit Medical Relief International to your daily prayer, and keep track of the trips that come up, that they may be bathed in prayer.

Of course, this mission cannot exist without financial support. There are so many organizations out there competing for your dollars. What makes the mission of Medical Relief International different? It's in our mission: As Dr. William Mays states,

- We come alongside mission organizations already in existence
- We take care of the people's emergent needs at the moment we see them, and
- We teach the Good News, which works wonderfully if left to the nationals with their command of the culture and language.
